Final Project:
I was inspired in so many ways in Learning with Digital Stories and during my inquiry into digital comics and graphic novels. I chose a final digital story project that let me marry many of those inspirations. The premise of the project is a networked book providing recommendations of graphic novels that go beyond the superhero genre. To keep the recommendations brisk and meaningful, the networked book is housed on Twitter under the handle @G_N_Librarian. Each review is 4 tweets long and is then archived on the Graphic Novel Librarian webpage. To make the networked book interactive, users are encouraged to tweet the librarian their interests and will receive a personalized 4-tweet recommendation. They are also asked to retweet messages from the librarian spreading the word of the project.
